I just found out today of Bill's passing. I met Bill through Boy Scouting and spent several years getting to know him and his family while sharing many Scouting activites. Bill excepted everyone for who they are and would do anything for anyone. He loved to joke and pick on others and wanted it back on him just as much. Shortly after I got to know Bill, I bought a tractor up by Richland Missouri. I was trying to decide how to get it home when he said" why don't you just drive it. I'll follow you" and that's what we did. It was an 83 mile trip and took a day and a half but it made a bond between us that I never forgot. Lord Jesus, I pray that you will bring comfort to Bill's family for their loss that can only come from you. May they always have good memories and share them with each other often. Thank you Lord for bringing Bill, Karen, Buryl into my life and for giving me a wonderful friend... Wes Hampel
