Billy (Bill) Jack Barnhouse (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mr. Billy (Bill) Jack Barnhouse, age 67 of Bolivar, MO went to his Heavenly Home Friday, May 11, 2012 at 1:30 AM at his earthly home in Bolivar after a short illness.
He was born on June 4, 1944 in Bolivar, MO the son of William Henry “Barney” Barnhouse and Allean Dorce (Lunceford) Barnhouse.
Bill was a professional meat cutter for several years. He managed Wood Super Market in Stockton and El Dorado Springs. He worked as a custodian at Wal-Mart in Bolivar until his illness forced him to retire. Bill was a graduate of Bolivar High School in 1962. He also served from 1964-1970 in the U. S. Army Reserves. He had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Bolivar since 1955.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Doris Blankenship; a brother, Charles Barnhouse; brothers-in-law Robert Hood, John Skidmore, Charles Matthews and a nephew Jimmy Hood.
Bill is survived by a very loving partner in life, Elizabeth Harris of Bolivar; a son Darren Barnhouse and wife Lorraine of Round Rock, TX; and his two grandchildren, Ben and Clara Barnhouse of Round Rock, TX; four sisters, Rose Matthews of Springfield, IL; Janet Skidmore of Springfield, MO; Pat Hood of Bolivar, MO and Linda Benner of Independence, MO; one brother Bob Barnhouse and wife Kelly of Bolivar, MO; brothers-in-law, Ray Blankenship of Mt. Vernon, MO; Larry Benner of Independence, MO; sister-in-law Berniece Barnhouse of Bolivar, MO, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and a host of many friends.
