Blanche I. Morgan (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Blanche Irene (Stark) Morgan, daughter of the late Leroy and Mary (Hewitt) Stark was born on January 14, 1919 in Bronaugh, MO and departed this life on September 21, 2022 in Springfield, MO. At the time of her passing she was 103 years, eight months, and six days of age.
Blanche was reared in Bronaugh, MO and graduated from Bronaugh High School. She was united in marriage to Russell L. Morgan on December 16, 1939 in Nevada, MO. They made their home in Byron, IL until Russell retired in 1974. After his retirement, they moved back to Missouri and settled on Lake Pomme de Terre until Russell’s passing in 1979. She married James F. Byrd on March 7, 1991 but kept the Morgan name. She was a charter member of Freedom Chapel Baptist Church in 1976 when the Church was first established. Blanche enjoyed life to the fullest and loved to fish.
Blanche was preceded in death by her two husbands, Russell Morgan and Frank Byrd; her parents; and two children, John Morgan and Dianna Russell. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Mulvaine of Riverside, CA; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss her.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2022 in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Caleb McClure officiating. Services are under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
