Bobby Dean Smith, son of the late Charlie Everett and Flora Alice (Williams) Smith, was born on May 24, 1934 in Long Lane, MO, and departed this life on June 22, 2018 at Colonial Springs Healthcare in Buffalo, MO. At the time of his passing he was 84 years, 1 month, and 29 days of age.
Bobby was saved as a young man at London Smoke Church. He was united in marriage to Belva Irene on June 6, 1953 in Buffalo, Missouri. He spent his working career driving a truck for Consumers. Bobby loved to work on his farm and in his garden. He also loved his family, and always enjoyed getting together for Christmas and other holidays.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Billy Smith; and one sister, Virginia Thompson. He is survived by his wife Belva of the home; two sons, Steven Dean & wife Anna Smith of Long Lane, MO and Gary Allen & wife Rhonda Smith of Buffalo, MO; two daughters, Brenda Kay & husband Henry Bliss of Marshfield, MO and Terri Ruth & husband Jerry Smith of Buffalo, MO; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss him.
