Bobby Williams' Obituary
obby Dean Williams, son of Elva and Cleta Nunn Williams, was born April 6, 1951, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Saturday, March 8, 2008, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-six years, eleven months, and two days. On April 3, 1970, he was united in marriage to Judy K. Gibbs, and to this union one daughter and one son were born. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Woodrow and Billy Ray Williams; and a sister, Edna M. Williams. Bobby is survived by his wife, Judy, of the home; a son, Robert Williams, of the home; a daughter, Cindy Williams, of the home; four brothers, Lavern, Johnny, Edward, and Howard Williams, all of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters, Bessie Ellis, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Kathrine Zimmerman, of Huntington, Indiana; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was born and raised in the Lebanon area and attended Lebanon High School. After he and Judy were married, they made their home near Lebanon, and lovingly raised their children. Bobby had worked as a truck driver throughout his life and was currently employed by Transland Trucking Corporation. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were hunting, fishing, and cutting wood. He loved having his family around him and especially hosting Christmas Eve and Fourth of July parties. He had a compassionate heart and was always willing to help others. Bobby was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and will treasure the memories he made for his family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon. Burial will be in the Dotson Cemetery.
