Bonita Sue Hinckley (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Bonita Sue Hinckley, age 66, of Springfield, Missouri entered into rest on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Bonita was born on May 18, 1969, on the Fort Bragg base in North Carolina to Homer Owens and Beverly (Weeks) Owens. As a young girl, the family moved to the Dallas County area. Bonita was very musically talented, playing the piano, guitar, and singing. As a teen, she was the vocalist for a rock band. As an adult, Bonita started her own medical transcription company, contracting with many medical facilities for their transcribing needs. Above all else, Bonita was devoted to the Lord her family. She loved being a mother to her three sons; Adam, Aaron and Austin. Bonita was a devout believer and worshiped within the Assembly of God church network. Bonita was preceded in death by her father, Homer Owens. She is survived by her three sons: Adam Hinckley, Aaron Hinckley, Austin Hinckley, her mother, Beverly Owens, and three sisters: Lisa Dowell and husband Terry, Tammy Owens, and Cory Mincey and husband Dewey. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Macedonia Cemetery near Buffalo, Missouri with the Campbell family officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Cantlon-Otterness and Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo.
