Bonnie Marie Blunk, 89, of Seymour, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Glenwood Healthcare in Seymour. Survivors include her husband, Robert Blunk of the home in Seymour; one son, Gary Blunk and wife Paula of S Read Obituary
Bonnie was my sister-in-law but I always considered her just my sister, since I do not have a "blood" one. I loved her dearly and will miss her, although we have been so far apart for these last years. I will remember the trips and fun we had and know that she is at peace now. These last few years have been hard for her and all the family but LOVE lasts forever. Rest in Peace, with love from all of us. Shirley
I have so many memories of my sweet Bonnie. Where can I begin. I met her in I believe 1949. I was only 15 years old. I knew immediately that we would be friends. She was so outgoing, caring and just fun to be around. I eventually married Dean Blunk, her brother in law. Bonnie even picked out the first apartment we had in Grand Junction and helped arrange for Dean and my arrival there to begin our married life. Our lives have always been entwined. She was first my special friend, then my sister in law and then my sister, which she remained all the rest of her days. She gave me wonderful advice, love and certainly made my life worth living. She always gave me her helping hand of which I was totally thankful for. I have asked God to reserve that special place in heaven for this special person. There will never be anyone like her. I will miss my sister terribly.
Aunt Bonnie was the best! I don't know of a kinder, sweeter, more generous person and she will always have a special place in my heart.
I remember when we were kids getting together with Aunt Bonnie, Uncle Bob, Gary and Sharon and going on picnics and camping. We have a wonderful time and created awesome memories.
I will miss Aunt Bonnie, but rejoice in the fact that now she is safe in the arms of Jesus and that one day I will get to see her again.
I love you, Aunt Bonnie! You were and are an inspiration to me. I hope I leave a legacy like you did - the best Aunt around!
