Bonnie Lucille Caffey (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Bonnie Lucille Caffey, daughter of Everett and Mary Duckworth Dedmond, was born May 7, 1955, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She departed this life Thursday, May 14, 2020, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-five years and seven days.
She was united in marriage on Nov. 14, 1974 to Doyle Caffey, and to this union one son was born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Doyle, on January 22, 2020.
Bonnie is survived by a son, Darren Caffey, of Lebanon, Missouri; six grandchildren; three step-daughters, Brenda Nutt, of Lebanon, Missouri, Debbie Carlisle, and Darla Nix, both of Springfield, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born in Oklahoma, and was raised in Springfield, Missouri. She then moved with her family to Conway, Missouri, when she was in her freshman year of high school. She completed her studies and graduated from Conway High School. After she and Doyle were married, they made their home in the Lebanon area and lovingly raised their son. Bonnie was a devoted homemaker to her husband and son, and also had a career as a medical technician. She had worked for both Christian Health Care Centers, now Lebanon North Nursing and Rehabilitation and Lebanon South Nursing and Rehabilitation for several years.
Bonnie had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of West Side Church of God.
In her spare time she enjoyed going to flea markets and sharing time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Bonnie was a loving mother, grandmother, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 21 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
A memorial has been established.
