Bonnie Hilliard's Obituary
Bonnie Jean Hilliard was born May 26, 1974, in Laurel, Mississippi, and passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009, in the Brookwood Group Home, near Cross Timbers, Missouri, at the age of thirty-five years, six months, and twenty-three days. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Olen and Katherine Wortham. Bonnie is survived by her foster parents, Kenny and Pat Rogers, of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Tracy Britt, and her husband, David, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Donnie Allen Hilliard, of the State of Mississippi; her foster brothers, Aaron Schmidt, Jeremiah Rogers, and Nathaniel Rogers, all of Lebanon, Missouri; her foster sisters, Sarah Killingsworth, of Walnut Grove, Missouri, Rebecca Weaver, and Sue Wilson, both of Lebanon, Missouri; her nieces and nephews, Levi, Jacob, Isaac, Johnathan, Emily, Abbey, Gavin, Jada, Evan, Elijah, Cash, Boon, and Joshua; her Brookwood Group Home family and friends; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born in Mississippi and then moved with her family to Lebanon, Missouri, when she was seven years old. She attended Lebanon R-III Schools and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1994. For the last eleven years, Bonnie had made her home at Brookwood Group Home, near Cross Timbers, where she helped with the care of the ladies. She had also helped deliver meals on wheels. Bonnie had made her profession of faith in Christ at the First Assembly of God Church in Lebanon. She had taken part in the Special Olympics and won medals in bowling and basketball. She enjoyed watching television and movies and liked collecting pictures of her friends. Her favorite foods included green olives, pickles and Pepsi. Bonnie was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt, and was a kind and caring friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Bonnie always loved and adored angels, and it is comforting to know that she is now dancing with the angels. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday December 21, 2009 at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon, Mo. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation is 1:00p.m. Monday until time of service under the direction of the Holman- Howe Funeral Home Lebanon, Missouri. Return to top
