To John, Susan, Cindy, Katherine and Elizabeth,
When I read this, I am very saddened for your loss--and mine too. Bonnie was such an inspiration to me as a young minister's wife when we moved to Lebanon. I was in my late 20's and wanted to be just like her when I grew up. Her bright smile was contagious and she was my role model. She guided me gently as I navigated the waters of being a pastor's wife. She helped me immensely. When I planned my first Open House at the parsonage, and helped me organize it, enlisted the CWF for cookies and serving and working in the kitchen. She was always so encouraging, upbeat, generous with her time and her smile. Whether a leader or a servant, her Christian faith was too bright to hide. Heaven is rejoicing, Though you are missing her, you were blessed (as was I) to have had her in your life as a wife and mother, Sending love and prayers to you.

It was not until this morning that I discovered news of Mrs. Reece’s passing. My sincerest condolences are extended to Mr. Reece and to Susan, Cindy, Elizabeth and Katherine, most of whom were friends of mine during our youth.
Distance can make the news travel slowly. Had knowledge of her passing arrived sooner, I would have made the trip to Lebanon to help honor Mrs. Reece. She was always very kind to me.
Better days will come.
