Bonnie Reeves' Obituary
onnie Lee Reeves, daughter of Harold and Eva Blanche (Yadon) Williams was born April 22, 1935, in Richland, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, February 22, 2008, in St. John’s Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of seventy-two years, and ten months. She and Jesse R. Reeves were united in marriage for fifty-five years, and to this union seven children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Scotty R. Reeves; a great-grandson, Joshua James Reeves; a brother, David Williams; and two sisters, Wanda Lillard and Rosetta Birong. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Jesse, of the home; two daughters, Annette Danek, and her husband, Scott, and Lana Boyer, and her husband, David, all of Lebanon, Missouri; four sons, Dennis Reeves, and his wife, Teresa, Pastor Allen Reeves, and his wife, Donna, Steve Reeves, and Ronald Reeves, and his wife, Barbara, all of Lebanon, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, James Williams, and his wife, Margaret, of Republic, Missouri; three sisters, Joy Flemins, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Roberta Williams, of Springfield, Missouri, and Deanna Williams, and her husband, Joe, of Augusta, Georgia; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Williams, of Republic, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. She lived in the Richland, Missouri area until the age of twelve, when she moved with her family to Lebanon. She and Jesse lived their entire married lives together in the Lebanon area, where they lovingly raised their family. Throughout the years, Bonnie was a devoted homemaker and loved being surrounded by her family. Bonnie loved her Lord and was a faithful member of Community Baptist Church, where she was very supportive of her son, Allen’s ministry. She possessed a delightful sense of humor and liked going to garage sales and collecting antiques. She especially enjoyed the friends she had made at St. John’s Cardiac Rehab. She took great pride in her children’s and grandchildren’s talents in sports and other endeavors. Bonnie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She bore her illness with great courage and was an inspiration to everyone around her. Her life’s testimony will live on forever in the hearts of all her family and many friends. Her greatest wish would be to someday see all her family and friends in Heaven. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2008, in the Community Baptist Church, Lebanon. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
