Bonnie Saluto (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Bonnie Bell Saluto, daughter of John Delbert and Bonnie Marie Erickson Cowen, was born, July 27, 1944, in Wheatland, Missouri. She departed this life, Thursday, July 10, 2014, in Carmel Hills Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Independence, Missouri at the age of sixty-nine years, eleven months and thirteen days.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Cowen.
Survivors include Chris Olvera; four sons, Sidney Lee Adamson and wife Stacey of Raytown, Missouri, John Robert Adamson, Michael Len Adamson and wife Amy and Todd Allen Adamson and wife Marsha all of Independence, Missouri; six grandchildren, Jacob, Joseph, Brooke, Caleb, Neal and Hunter; three sisters, MaryLou Stoner of Macks Creek, Missouri, Marie Dibben of Independence, Missouri and Willa Altes of North Kansas City, Missouri; a brother, Johnny Cowen of Osage Beach, Missouri, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Bonnie was raised in Mack Creek, Missouri and graduated from high school there. She worked for Missouri Retired Peoples Pharmacy. She retired from Truman Medical Center where she worked in the finance department.
Bonnie made a profession of faith and was a member of Reach Out Missionary Baptist Church in Blue Springs, Missouri.
She was a member of the Moose Lodge, Chapter 1092. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice of Kansas City, Missouri, and left at the funeral home.
