Bonnie Marie Stubbs (Hartville)'s Obituary
Bonnie Marie Stubbs, daughter of James Aubrey and Mildred Opal Stigall Palmer, was born December 23, 1933 in Hartville, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, September 27, 2013 in her home in Marshfield, Missouri at the age of seventy-nine years, nine months, and four days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Tiauna Stubbs; two brothers, Bill and Bobby Palmer; and a sister, Janetta Palmer. Bonnie is survived by her children, Larry Stubbs and wife Rita of Lebanon, Missouri, Teresa Fletcher and husband Jim of San Antonio, Texas, and Garry Stubbs and wife Lisa of Clearwater, Florida; grandchildren, Shaun Stubbs, Rebecca James, Megan Woods, Timothy Fletcher, Erik Stubbs, and Tyler Stubbs; great-grandchildren, TeOnna, Makayla, Kane, Ayla, Merryn, and Evan; two sisters, Beuanna Kelsey and husband Dallas of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Barbara Baker and husband Rick, of Owasso, Oklahoma; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends. Bonnie spent her younger years in the Hartville area and was a graduate of Hartville High School in the Class of 1952. She married Everett Stubbs in 1954 and to this union three children were born. The family made their home in various locations throughout the world and eventually settled in Manes. Bonnie later moved to Marshfield. She had accepted Christ as her Savior, and was a member of the Church of Christ in Fair Grove, Missouri. Bonnie was a wonderful homemaker for her family. Her hobbies included needlework, playing the guitar and singing. Later in life she enjoyed traveling around local areas playing in different musical “jam sessions.” Bonnie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and many dear friends.
