The Sunday of HR's wedding was the last time that I saw Breauna. She and I sat beside each other at the picnic table most of the time during the reception. I remember her eating and loving the scalloped potatoes.
Well... A ball got stuck in the tree by our table that the kids were playing with and so her friend Scott decided to climb the tree to get it. This tree had no low branches so he monkey climbed it until he got to some branches and I remember looking at Bre like what the heck and she was watching with an amazed stare.
Scott got the ball down and had to get himself down and he did but it was like he was swinging from the branches. I looked at Bre and she said "Ok, I've never seen that before" and I said " I think he has some monkey in him" We just laughed.
The very last memory I have of Bre was before she was leaving the reception was she came up to me to tell me goodbye and I was holding Heath's baby and she said how cute he was and gave me a kiss on the side of my head. I could hear the smack of her sweet little kiss. I thought about that several times and how my little niece was so kind and caring. Then two days later..... I think that was meant for me to always remember her by. I loved that sweet girl that I am proud to call my niece, and always will.
