She was born and raised in the Waynesville and St. Robert area, and attended Waynesville Schools. After she and Bill were married, they lived in Wisconsin for a few years, and then moved to Richland, Missouri for twelve years. They made their home in Wichita, Kansas for four years, returned to Richland, and then later moved to Lebanon, where they spent the last eight years. Through the years, Brenda was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, and also helped care for family members during their senior years. She had worked at various other jobs and later was a secretary to George and Shirley Marshall for a few years.
Brenda made her profession of faith and was baptized at an early age and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Crocker, Missouri.
In her spare time she enjoyed being outdoors where her favorite activities were fishing, doing yard work, growing beautiful flowers, and playing with her dogs. She also enjoyed going to the shooting range and riding motorcycles. She was steadfast in her convictions but was always a joy to be around. She was a talented photographer and greatly enjoyed taking pictures of family, friends, and places. She was a gracious hostess and always made sure their home was open to family and friends. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed time with her grandsons and great-granddaughter.
