Brooksie Jane Johnson (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Brooksie Jane Johnson, daughter of the late John H. and Jetta (Rains) Edde, was born on April 27, 1935 in Urbana, MO and departed this life on March 22, 2025. She was raised and attended school in Urbana, MO. Brooksie was united in marriage to Donald W. Johnson on June 1, 1953 and to this union four children were born.
Brooksie was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Donald; her parents; four brothers; three sisters; and her son, Gilbert. She is survived by her sister, Betty June Krause; daughter, Janie Eidson of Roach, MO; daughter, Sandy & husband Melvin Rice of Sedalia, MO; son, Mike Johnson of Tipton, MO; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who will truly miss her. She has requested a private memorial service for immediate family which will be held at a later date. Cremation rites were accorded under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home.
