Bruce Rhoads (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Bruce Dale Rhoads, son of Howard and Hazel O’Quinn Rhoads, was born May 7, 1951 in Lebanon, MO. He passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO at 73 years, three months, and nine days of age.
Bruce was raised in the Lebanon area where he spent most of his life. He worked for 26 years at Detroit Tool as a purchasing agent. When not working, Bruce could be found tinkering in his garage or lending a helping hand to others in need. He also spent much of his time raising bee colonies, spending time with his dogs, watching his grandson Caleb race, and enjoyed fishing.
Bruce was always quick with a joke. He had a strong sense of humor and was known for his wit. He was also a very devoted family man. He loved his children, and was particularly fond of his grandchildren. Bruce is survived by his significant other; Dianna Williams of the home, his daughter; Megan Brown and husband Jamon of Camdenton, MO, his son; Dustin Rhoads and wife Amanda of Lebanon, MO, a step-daughter; Joy Schaneman and her husband Justin of Springfield, MO, his grandchildren; Tessa, Joshua, Caleb, Blake, Hayden, Koa, Tyler, Rylan, and Brayden, and his great-grandchildren; Sydney, Stetsyn, Walker, Emersynn, Cash, Rayn, Kinley, Weston, and Colton. He is preceded in death by his parents; Howard and Hazel Rhoads, his late wife Marilyn Campbell, his sister; Brenda K. Henson Rhoads, and his brother; David Rhoads.
Bruce will be dearly remembered by those who knew and loved him.

A memorial has been established for Rescue One in Springfield, Missouri and donations may be left at the funeral home.
