Burt Raymond, III (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Vendig Burt Parlade Howard Raymond III, 66, passed away on November 4, 2025 in Buffalo, Missouri. Burt, also known as Mon, was born in Manila, Philippines on March 17, 1959 to Burt Howard Raymond Jr and Aida Parlade Raymond. Where he attended school and was involved in many things such as acting in movies, helping on the family farm, and surviving being the one and only brother to seven sisters. Once he became an adult he moved and traveled around the US working various jobs until he settled in Utah and married Tamara Evans and started their family with three children. Soon enough his heart drew him to Colorado to raise their children in the small town of Dove Creek where he made his mark as RayDog and loved the community. Later life took him to Missouri where he settled and felt at home and happily spent the rest of his days with his loving partner Lavonna Kelly and became a part of their beautiful family. Ray was also blessed with many dear friends, he walked his journey through life a gentle soul, a legacy of joy, peace and love! Burt was preceded in death by both of his parents, and his partner Lela Gilmore. He is survived by his children David Evans, Burt Casey Raymond IV, Tanya(Levi) Henry and six grandchildren children. His sisters Caresse, Crystal, Caprice, Candice, Celeste, Czarina, and Cathryn. Lavonna Kelly, her children Charlie(Tiffany) Wilkinson and Renata(Chris) Cornelius, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Along with Lela’s children Rebecca Melcoy, Morgan Gilmore, Draven Gilmore, and one grandchild. We will be holding a Celebration of Life at the Pleasant Hope Park in Pleasant Hope, Mo. On April 25, 2026 at 1 p.m. We would love for all whose lives he touched to join us in honoring and remembering him.
