Calvin Schlicht (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Calvin John Schlicht, 80, of Lebanon, died Monday morning, Dec. 29, 2014, at his home in Lebanon.
He was born on June 14, 1934, in Denton, Mich., to Aldon and Florence Reba Anderson Schlicht.
On Aug. 25, 2000, he married Victoria Ann Wright.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Arthur and Robert Schlicht, and two brothers-in-law, Rev. Junior Elam and Russell Wright.
Calvin Schlicht made his career in the automobile business and lived and worked in Michigan, Florida, Alaska, and southern California. He was an avid sports fan, loving all sports, and was an all-star basketball and baseball player during his high school years.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria, of the home; two daughters, Valorie Conway and her husband, Jim, and Elizabeth Schlicht, all of Mesa, Ariz.; three step-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Rosalie Elam and Evelyn Ginn, both of Lebanon, and Mary Jo Wright and her husband, Jim, of Menifee, Calif.; two brothers-in-law, Richard Wright, of Lebanon, and Ron Wright and his wife, Lenna, of Menifee, Calif.; several nieces and nephews, many friends, and his beloved dog, “Toby,’’ who was his constant companion until his death.
No services are planned at this time for Calvin John Schlicht.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
