Carl W. Eidson (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Carl W. Eidson was born in Macks Creek, Missouri on January 13, 1939 to Jess Sterling and Maryann Meads Eidson. He passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2012 at his home in Macks Creek, Missouri.
He went his first year of school in the old schoolhouse, next to Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, which he helped remodel several years later.
He spent his childhood years fishing and hunting, which he continued to enjoy until he got older. At the age of eleven years the Lord convicted him in a revival meeting held at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where he was saved and then joined the church. He was baptized with several others saved in that meeting on November 12, 1950.
On July 3, 1964 he was united in marriage to Kathie Loveta Dawson. To this union two children were born, a son, Kerry D. Eidson and a daughter Kathryn D. Hauschild.
Carl was a carpenter by trade and built and remodeled houses all over the lake area. He loved gardening until his health failed him. He especially liked to grow tomatoes.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Maryann Eidson; two brothers, James Allen Eidson and wife Nera and Silas (Baint) Eidson and wife Erma. Also two sisters; Otha Lee Bunch and husband Jean and Maxine Gould and husband Paul, Sr.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife Loveta of the home; son Kerry Dean Eidson of Urbana, Missouri; daughter Kathryn D. Hauschild and husband Rick of Elmwood, Nebraska; two grandsons, Austin Miller and Lane Hauschild of Elmwood, Nebraska; two granddaughters, Hannah Willis of Grand Bay, Alabama and Abby Eidson of Camdenton, Missouri; one great-grandson Drealen Willis of Grand Bay, Alabama; along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends who will miss him dearly.
