Carmen Fitts (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Carmen Pauline Fitts was born October 19, 1953, in Lebanon, Missouri, and departed this life Sunday, April 26, 2015, in her home, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-one years, six months, and seven days.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Raeetta Fitts; and a sister, Judy Fitts.
Carmen is survived by two sons, Raymond Fitts, of Springfield, Missouri, and Cashawn Williams, of Lebanon, Missouri; a daughter, Samantha Robertson, of the State of Florida; grandchildren, Kevin, Kristopher, Cameron, Raesean, and Indaca; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon area and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1970. She continued to make her home in the Lebanon community, and was a devoted homemaker to her family. She also was employed by the Copeland Corporation for several years.
In her spare time she enjoyed playing Bingo and being around her family and friends. She was a very sweet lady who was always willing to help others. She had a strong will and a determined mind and could be rather outspoken. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Carmen was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her sixty-one years.
