She was born and raised in the Lamar, Missouri area, and graduated from Lamar High School. After she was married, Carol was a devoted homemaker and mother while living in various locations as William was serving in the Marine Corps. The family eventually settled in Lebanon, Missouri in 1969, and Carol began working as a secretary for Laclede County Farm Bureau. Carol had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of First Baptist Church in Lebanon.
In her spare time she enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading, traveling to visit her children and grandchildren, and tracing her genealogy. She had a fondness for animals and particularly loved cats. Her family was very dear to her and she especially loved having time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carol was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
