Carol Jean Sole (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Carol Jean (Moore) Sole, daughter of Robert Eugene Moore and Dorothy Mae (Medcalf) Acreback, was born on October 21, 1949, in Dallas County, Missouri and departed this life on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at her home in Buffalo, Missouri. She was at the time of her passing 73 years and 26 days of age.
Carol spent most of her childhood growing-up in the Dallas County area and living with her grandparents on their farm. She started her schooling in Dallas County and finished in Halfway, Missouri earning her high school diploma. She worked at the Bolivar Garment Factory and Keys in Buffalo Missouri. She finished her career caring for others as an in-home aide through Oxford Healthcare.
Carol had many activities and hobbies she enjoyed. She loved sitting on the porch, or as she called it, “Watching the corner.” She also enjoyed sonic slushes, watching television, and in her younger years riding horses with her cousins. She loved her dog Angel, and sometimes she even fed her better than she ate herself. She was an amazing mother and granny who always wanted to know what her boys were up to, and she will always be remembered for her love of cardinals. Carol also kept everything, and she always had what everyone needed. Her famous words of, “Don’t throw it away, you never know when you may need it” would ring in the ears of those looking to throw something away
Carol was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, James Raymond Sole of Buffalo, Missouri; grandchildren, Dalton James Sole Parnosky & wife Cierra of Buffalo, Missouri, Samuel Noel Sole of Buffalo, Missouri, and Alexis Janel Sole of Buffalo, Missouri; brother, Gus Ray Acreback & wife Darlene of Buffalo, Missouri; nieces, Michelle Williams & husband Victor of Buffalo, Missouri, and Schellie Lake & husband Brandon of Cross Timbers, Missouri; and several other family and friends. Carol was a loving, caring, and nurturing person who is loved and will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held by the family on November 20, 2022, at 3:30 P.M. in the Cherry Grove Baptist Church Community Room.
