Carol Jean Stewart, age 82 of Bolivar, Missouri departed this life on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at her home in Bolivar.
Carol was born on August 24, 1931 in Grants Pass, Oregon, the daughter of Hollis Clarence Hopper and Violet Eva Foster.
Carol was united in marriage to Corbon Arthur Stewart and to this union three children were born, Kathy, David, and John.
She earned her Associated Degree and was a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She worked at locations in California and Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Violet Hopper; and her husband, Corbon Stewart.
Carol is survived by her children, Kathy Stone of Seattle, Washington; David Shaver and his wife Tess of Boise, Idaho; and John Shaver of Bolivar, Missouri; four grandchildren, Daniel Shaver and his fiancé April of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; John Allen Shaver of Boise, Idaho; Julie Gibson and her husband Robbie of Boise, Idaho; Matthew Shaver of Bolivar, Missouri; and five great-grandchildren; her brother, Hal Hopper and his wife Jan of Weiser, Idaho; along with numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
