Carol Walker's Obituary
Carole Lee Walker, age 74, of Buffalo, Missouri (formerly of Kansas City, Missouri) passed away at 1:54pm, Sunday, August 30, 2009 at her home in Buffalo, Missouri. She was born November 19, 1934 in Kansas City, Kansas to William D. Hill and Geraldine A. Hulse Hill. She was a Legal Secretary for 15 years before retirement and was a member of the Legal Secretary Association, and St. Regis Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a past member of the Elk’s Lodge and Beta Sibma Phi. Carole enjoyed reading, her dogs, children and babies, her family, and her music. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth M. Walker. Carole is survived by her son, Jack R. Monath and his wife Teri of Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter Jerry Bolin and her husband Thomas of Buffalo, Missouri, four grandchildren, Christina Davis, Mitchell Monath, Ashley Bolin, Thomas Scott Bolin, three great grandchildren, Britney Pratt, Kyle Nottingham and Andrew Mays. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, September 3, 2009 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Father Pat Wissman officiating. Musical selections will be “Amazing Grace”, “Just A Closer Walk With Thee” and “Rock Of Ages” by Malinda Batten with Greg Ankrom playing the piano. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar, Missouri under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar. Visitation will be from 5-7pm, Wednesday evening, September 2, 2009 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Monath, Scott Bolin, Jason Davis, Jack Monath, Tom Bolin and Victor Bolin.
