Carole A. Curtright (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Carole Ann Curtright, daughter of Richard and Jane Brown Digby, was born August 10, 1926, in Lebanon, Missouri.  She departed this life Tuesday, August 17, 2010, in St. John’s Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of eighty-four years, and eight days.
On September 12, 1949, she was united in marriage to Robert Wayne Curtright, and to this union one daughter was born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert, on May 11, 1998; two brothers, Emil and Hershel Digby; and a sister, Gladys Broyles.
Carole is survived by a daughter, Tammy Gilmore, of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Tynisa, Brad, Cody, and Brittney; seven great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Alexis, Jaxon, Hayden, Asia, Koa, and Trey; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised near Lebanon, in Laclede County, Missouri.  After she and Robert were married, they made their home in Wichita, Kansas, and lovingly raised their daughter.  Throughout the years, Carole was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.  In 1992, Carole and Robert moved to Lebanon, Missouri and made their home.
Carole had a deep and abiding faith in God and had attended Lebanon First Assembly of God.  She was a devout Bible reader and loved sharing her faith.
In her spare time she enjoyed growing beautiful flowers and working in her garden.  She also liked bird watching and caring for her home.  She possessed a strong will and was a very organized person.  She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren..
Carole was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend.  We celebrate her life and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends.
