Carole E. Walsh (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Carole Elaine Walsh, 90, of Rocky Mount, Missouri, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on October 18, 2025.
She was born on April 8, 1935, in Monterey Park, California, to Avery Rival Mead and Mary Elaine Tipton. After her father’s passing, Carole grew up in California with her mother, brother, loving stepfather Harvey Adair, and sister Jeanne.
Carole graduated from UCLA with a degree in Education and later earned a master’s degree in Reading and Educationally Handicapped Education. A passionate and dedicated teacher, she worked with students for decades in Colorado, where she inspired generations as a special education teacher and transition coordinator.
She was known for her independence, sense of humor, and love of life. Carole enjoyed traveling, dancing, genealogy, astrology, and spending time with her family and friends.
Carole is survived by her daughters Sharon (Rick) Patrick, Patricia (Mickey) Sandora, and Susan (Russ) Bayer; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends who knew her as “Mom.”
