Carolyn Sue Baker (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Carolyn Sue Baker, age 64, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away at Citizens Memorial Hospital, in Bolivar, on Thursday, December 24, 2015.
She was born on January 24, 1951, in Dunnegan, Missouri, to David Lee Johnson, and Goldie Melvina (Richards) Johnson. She grew up, and attended schools in the area.
Carolyn had many jobs throughout her life, but her favorite was being a stay at home mother, and raising her boys. She loved her sons greatly, and loved all her family. She also loved her dogs, and enjoyed cooking and good food, as well as crossword puzzles and sewing. She was a woman of great faith. She loved God with all her heart, and spent many hours reading his word, and books by Charles Stanley and Billy Graham. Her faith was evident in the works she did. If anyone ever needed anything, she was quick to act in any way she could, even if it was beyond her means. She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Goldie; and one brother, Rodger Johnson.
Carolyn is survived by her sons, Jason Scot Johnson, and wife Rosie, Ron Baker, and wife Kim; her brothers and sisters, Dennis Johnson, Sharon Freeze, Donnie Johnson, Beverly Nichols, Jerry Johnson; grandsons, Korey Wegner, and Ryan Baker; great grandsons, Tayten Wegner, and Kodie Wegner; and one great great grandchild, Raylenn Wegner.
