Carolyn Jean Medling (Seymour)'s Obituary
Carolyn Jean Medling, daughter of Robert Irvin and Ida Louise Owens Dickson, was born May 5, 1948, in Seymour, Missouri, and departed this life on November 20, 2020, at Maranatha Village in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of seventy-two years, six months, and five days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Tommy Lee Dickson, and Gary Dickson. Carolyn is survived by her son, Brent Medling and his wife, Bobbie, of Bois D’Arc, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jennifer McKnight, Justin, Jordan, and Jackson Medling; brother, Roy Dickson and his wife, Waneta, of Urbana, Missouri. She was born and raised in Seymour where she graduated from Seymour High School in the Class of 1966.
In her spare time, she enjoyed being with her son , his wife and her grandchildren, she enjoyed working with crafts, cooking and traveling every chance she could.
Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.
We celebrate her life and have many great memories of the times we had together.
