Carolyn Pierson (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Carolyn Jane Pierson, daughter of Donald F. and Mildred Allen Tucker, was born November 1, 1946, in Washington, Iowa. She departed this life Monday, December 15, 2014, in her home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-eight years, one month, and fourteen days.
On July 25, 1965, she was united in marriage to Donald L. Pierson, and to this union three sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Donald, of the home; three sons, Eric Pierson, Brian Pierson, both of Lebanon, Missouri, and Charles Pierson, and his wife, Reba, of Moline, Illinois; a grandchild, Emerald Pierson, of Moline, Illinois; a brother, Ronald Tucker, and his wife, Julie, of Topeka, Kansas; a sister, Kathy Davis, and her husband, James, of Washington, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in Richland, Iowa and graduated from Pekin High School. After she and Donald were married, they made their home in Iowa and lovingly began raising their sons. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, Carolyn also worked as an assistant manager at a Quick Shop for a few years. In 1995, the family moved to Lebanon, Missouri.
In her spare time she enjoyed reading, camping and watching the birds. In her younger years, she had liked riding motorcycles. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchild.
Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
