Carolyn VanMiddlesworth (Buffalo)'s Obituary
On Nov. 12, 2020, Carolyn Dale Van Middlesworth earned her angel wings.
On Coming to NJ to visit relatives in June of 1964, she met and married her beloved husband, Frederick Van Middlesworth on July 25, 1964. They recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary.
Carolyn was born in Maryville, Tennessee, February 12, 1946 to the late Jackson and Irene McHaffie Hall. She was the sister to Janie Hall, Charles “Talkie” Hall, David Hall and the late Jackie, Lowell and Howard, Hall.
She was the treasured mother of Robert Van Middlesworth and his wife, Jean of whiting, NJ, and Constances Van Middlesworth of Urbana, MO. She was the cherished grandmother of Steven Ryan Van Middlesworth of Buffalo, MO, and Samantha Lynn Umfleet and her husband Michael of Louisburg, MO. She is also survived by many in laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She especially loved and treasured her dog, Johnny Cash.
Carolyn lived in NJ with her family for 39 years, before moving to Urbana, MO in 2003.
She was a parishioner of St Bernadette’s Church in Hermitage, MO which included playing the lottery, going to casinos, and sewing.
Her greatest joy in life was being a caregiver to all she knew and loved. She will be missed and treasured by all for always.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo, Missouri with Deacon Kent Boettger officiating with cremation rites following under the direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2020 before the service.
