Catherine Jean Stokes (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Cathy Stokes, 73, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Citizens Memorial Health Care Facility on Saturday, January 10, 2026, following a lingering illness. Cathy was born March 13, 1952, in Livermore, California, to Robert Dougherty and Joy (Keller) Dougherty. Just before Cathy’s 6th birthday, the family moved to San Diego, California. Cathy graduated from Kearny High School in https://1970.In 1986, Cathy moved to Bolivar, Missouri and was soon employed at Citizens Memorial Hospital. She worked in the Emergency Department and later moved to the Medical Records Department as a transcriptionist. Cathy worked for the hospital for a little over 20 years. Cathy married Wayne Stokes in April https://2005.Cathy is survived by one brother, Michael and one sister, Peggy. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne, one sister, Barbara, and one brother, Ronald. A graveside service will be held at 2:15 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar.
