Cecil "Paul" Faulkner (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Cecil “Paul” Faulkner Jr., age 72 of Bolivar, Missouri departed this life for a better place on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at his home in Bolivar, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born on September 28, 1942 in Phoenix, Arizona, to Cecil Paul Faulkner Sr. and Lorraine “Noonie” Evelyn (Scott) Faulkner.
Paul grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, where he graduated from Camelback High School, and attended Phoenix College. He worked twenty-three years for the Phoenix Fire Department, where he retired as a Division Chief. He then moved to Grandview, Missouri, where he worked for seven years as a Fire Chief of the Grandview Fire Department.
He loved the four seasons in Missouri, and especially the fall and the holiday activities. He enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening, and watching the birds and squirrels in the back yard.
Paul was a Mason since 1963 and was a member of the Christian church.
He is preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Lorraine and one nephew, Johnboy.
Surviving is his loving wife Patsy Faulkner of the home; one son, Mark Faulkner and wife Kim; Four daughters, Karen Colburn, Kristy Hoard and husband Roy, Shelli McVey and husband Kevin, and Mitzi Poole; Sixteen wonderful grandchildren; one unborn great granddaughter, Briella McVey; One sister, Carollee and husband Bob, and their family; as well as his faithful, loving side kick, Sophie.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Lorraine, and a nephew, Johnboy.
Paul will be missed by all that knew him, especially his best friend Patsy.
