Cecilia "Patty" Patience Pollock (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Cecilia Patience Pollock, daughter of Frank and Ethel Koch Sutherland, was born April 24, 1937, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Sunday, October 6, 2019, in Lebanon North Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty-two years, five months, and twelve days.
On December 12, 1975, she was united in marriage to William D. Pollock, who preceded her in death on November 11, 2010.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a step-son, Danny Pollock.
“Patty”, as she was called by her family and friends, is survived by a daughter, Barbara Brackett, and her husband, Donnie, of Lebanon, Missouri; two sons, William Bohannon, and his fiancée, Charmaine Werner, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Bryon Bohannon, and his wife, Regina, of Falcon, Missouri; three step-sons, Darrell Pollock, and his wife, Suzie, of Lebanon, Missouri, Rusty Pollock, and his wife, Jovana, of Marshfield, Missouri, and Chris Pollock, of Kansas City, Kansas; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Shelton, and Judy Long, and her husband, Delbert, all of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Lebanon, Missouri, and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1955. She lived most of her adult years in Lebanon, and was always a devoted homemaker to her family. She had also worked at Appleby, Richline, Lowe and Landau Boat Manufacturing Companies throughout the years. Later, she worked at B & D Truck Stop for a few years.
Patty had attended Harvest Tabernacle-United Pentecostal Church in Lebanon.
In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, music of all kinds, and animals. She was a gifted poetry writer and had a book of her poetry published. When she was younger, she liked going to the river with her children and enjoyed rock collecting. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed having time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Patty was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
