Charles "Olan" Asby (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Charles Everett Olen Asby, 49, went to be with his Heavenly Father on March 14, 2019, in Kansas City, Missouri. Olen was born to Wayne and Carla Asby, on December 19, 1969 in Louisiana, Mo. He graduated from Halfway High School in 1989.
Olen was a proud member of Pleasant Hope Assembly of God Church, In Pleasant Hope, Missouri, and was very close with his church family. Olen was a great prayer warrior and felt very compassionate for those in need. He had a love for his two special dogs, Frogger and Bubba. He loved to ride his four-wheeler everywhere that he could and enjoyed riding the cart at Walmart and visiting with the friends that he made there.
Olen is preceded in death by a brother: Blaine Asby, his grandparents: Charles and Evelyn Gilbert, and Everett and Odessa Asby, along with several uncles and aunts.
Olen is survived by his parents: Wayne and Carla Asby of the home, his brothers: Keith and Cari Asby of Ozark, Mo, and Dean Asby, of Halfway, Mo, an aunt; Linda Carey, of Bolivar, Mo, along with a host of nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
Visitation for Olen will be Monday, March 18, 2019 from 1:30 to 2:30, with services to follow at Butler Funeral Home, Bolivar, Mo. Burial will take place at the Pleasant Hope Cemetery,in Pleasant Hope, Mo
In lieu of flowers, Olen would want donations made in his honor to the Christopher and Dana Reeve’s Foundation, for Spinal Cord Injuries.
