I am so sorry to hear this tragic news. Uncle Bob was always my favorite. I loved spending time with him and Uncle Bill when I would go to great grandmas when I was younger. I always thought he was so talented. His artwork was incredible. Bob will be very missed. We’re all thinking of you at this time. Thoughts and prayers!

Felicia,
I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Bob. Some of my favorite childhood memories were spent with Bob and Bill. I love going to Gatlinburg but part of that was always going to see Bob at the SkyLift. He always had such a big smile and an even bigger hug for me. He will be greatly missed. I wish I could have spent more time with you guys.

Felicia,
Your Dad was truly a genuine gentleman who cared for others and was always giving and helping expecting nothing in return. A true person with a true servants heart ready to help in any way. I count it a blessing being fortunate enough to get to work with Bob during the time he was at the SkyLift . He was always ready to do whatever it took to get the job done in all the right ways. He lived out treating others like he would like to be treated. Always giving of himself to his friends, co workers, and others, be it food , clothing, money, words of encouragement, laughter, funny stories and many other good things that brought blessings to others.
I always got laughs and joy from his funny sayings, stories, and experiences. And how he could just amazingly show up out of nowhere with his I gotch ya grin! I used to call him Sneaky Sneaky😊
I also got much joy on several different occasions getting to see and admire his God given talent he would put perfectly on canvas with his beautiful paintings of God’s creations.
I thank the Good Lord for allowing me to have a good friend in Bob Yeary, a true Jewel that Heaven has gained.
Felicia,
Our prayers are that God would give You peace and comfort in every way.
Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. Matthew 5:8
Felicia...
Your dad was truly one of a kind. He walked the walk day in and day out. It was an absolute pleasure to have worked beside your dad here at the SkyLift through the years. He would always drop what he was doing just to help someone out. Generous and hardworking are a couple of words that come to mind when I think of your dad. You and the family are in my prayers. I'm so very thankful for the hope we have in Christ and the fact that this is not goodbye...its see you again!

Bob was a man of few words and many talents and if you were fortunate enough to get to really know him he was a man of many words and even more talents I always thought he had a look in his eyes and smile like he had a funny secret only he knew that will live on now through his daughter! Bob was a gentle a kind man who will be sorely missed by the Brookside crew! Brandon, Rick Beville, June ,josh, and Rene rest easy my friend!
We at the Gatlinburg SkyLift are heartbroken over the loss of our dear friend Bob. He was kind, friendly, trustworthy, and reliable. He was a precious human being who has left us too soon. He will be missed dearly by his former coworkers and friends. We extend our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. Until we meet again.
