Charles "Teddy" Bures (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Charles Theodore “Teddy” Bures was born September 17, 1948 in Lebanon, Missouri to Theodore Forrest and Margaret Addison Bures. He departed this life Friday, May 30, 2025 in his home in Lebanon, Missouri. He was seventy-six years, eight months and thirteen days of age.
Teddy was raised in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School. He was employed at H.D. Lee and Independent Stave Mill for most of his career.
He grew up in Calvary Baptist Church and was saved when he was a boy.
Teddy is survived by his sister, Mary Wilson and her husband Ron of Lebanon, Missouri; his brother, Robert Bures of Dothan, Alabama; four nephews, Mark Wilson, Christopher Wilson, Brandon Bures and Phillip Bures; and a number of great-nieces and nephews.
He loved his family dearly and was a real homebody. He loved living in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks, but also enjoyed visiting Dothan, Alabama. He enjoyed researching his ancestry and had a desire to learn about the Civil War.
Teddy will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
