Charles Conley (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Charles Patrick Conley, Son of Reldon and Helena Barrow Conley, was born July 2, 1944, in Kingman, Arizona. He departed this life Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at his home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy- two years, five months, and twenty- five days.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Charles is survived by a daughter, Lisa Harlow and her husband, David, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one grandson, Trevor Pak, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one sister, Sally Selis, of San Diego, California; two brothers, Jerry Conley and Hank Conley, both of the State of California; best friend, Fred Schonfeld, of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born in Kingman, Arizona, and then moved with his family to Deming, New Mexico. Charles worked for the State Highway Department for a few years, then for Spartan Technologies, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for over twenty-five years. In July of 2000, he moved to Lebanon, Missouri, where he worked as a truck driver for Prime, Inc.
He was a wonderful cook and built his own home from the ground up, with his best friend, Fred Schonfeld. He possessed a generous heart, an amazing sense of humor, and had a great love for his daughter and grandson.
Charles was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will remember all the special times he created for them during his seventy-two years, five months, and twenty-five days.
