Charles Hobbs (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Charles Maynard Hobbs, 76, passed away on September 4, 2021, following a long battle with heart problems. Maynard was born in Ava, MO on March 6,1945, to Loring Warren and Theo (Beasley)Hobbs. He was a graduate of Halfway High School. He lived and worked on the family farm many years before moving to Bolivar. He drove various types of trucks, from dump trucks to semis through the years, and was also a bus driver, mail carrier, and a shelf stocker at Wal-Mart.
Maynard was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Rebecca of the home; two daughters, Sheri Hess and her husband Kevin of Pittsburgh, MO and their children Zachary, Hannah, and Darci Wilson and husband James of Pleasant Hope, MO and their children Lily and Hunter; a brother, Harold Hobbs of Halfway, MO; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and in-laws. Arrangements for Maynard are under the direction of Butler Funeral Home.
