Charles Ray McCarthy (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Charles Ray McCarthy, age 56 of Halfway, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 in an automobile accident in Dallas County.
He was born August 12, 1956 in Buffalo, Missouri, the son of Richard Lee McCarthy and Mavis Irene (Ballinger) McCarthy.
Charles was an electrician, for close to 30 years, working for Union Local #453 of Springfield, Missouri. He was a Christian and saved later in life. He loved to hunt arrowheads and enjoyed reading. He had a very kind heart and loved his family dearly.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Donnie and Wayne McCarthy.
Charles is survived by his parents, Richard & Mavis McCarthy of Halfway, Missouri, his son, Sean McCarthy of Liberty, Missouri, his daughter, Amber Abercrombie and her husband Jeff of Buffalo, Missouri, his brother, Larry McCarthy and his wife Cheryl of Buffalo, Missouri, his companion, Regina Carns Reynolds of Bolivar, Missouri, two sister-in-laws, Michele McCarthy of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Pat McCarthy of Buffalo, Missouri and three grandchildren, Sydney, Sadie and Jack Abercrombie.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch, 5549 N. Highway 13, Brighton, Missouri 65617.
