Charles "Steve" Scrivener (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Charles Steven “Steve” Scrivener, 75, was born on May 8, 1947 in Plad, MO and passed away at his home in Plad, MO on July 22, 2022. At the time of his passing he was 75 years, two months and 13 days of age.
Steve was united in marriage to Pearl L. Bartee and they shared the last 45 years together. Steve and Pearl have three sons, Steven “Tommy” Scrivener, Robert Spotz, and Mickey Scrivener.
Steve was a over-the-road boat trucker. He worked for Bass Tracker, Lowes Boats, Landau, James Trucking, and G-3 Boats before his retirement because of health problems. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his grandchildren, and with other family and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Larry, Stanley, Carl “Lucky”, and Jerry Dean Scrivener; and Darrin. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Pearl; three sons, Steven “Tommy” Scrivener of Colorado, Robert (Kelly) Spotz of Missouri, and Mickey (Kristy) Scrivener of Nebraska; four siblings, Sue (Eddie), Debbie (Larry), Norma, and Kent; his grandchildren, Daccota, Michael (Mercedes), Andrew, Landon, Jodi, Jamie, and Cody; great-grandchildren, Mayla and Memphis; special mentions, Jannette (Johnie), Lacey (Bryan), and Mackenzie. He also leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends who will all truly miss him.

Cremation rites were accorded under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at the Lone Rock Cemetery near Windyville, MO.
