Charles Serls (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Charlie Dean Serls, age 68, a lifelong resident of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born July 7, 1944 in Bolivar, Missouri, the son of Ralph J. Serls and Lina June (Harris) Serls.
Charlie worked for over 20 years as a factory worker at Dayco, he then worked at SRC for 15 years. After retirement he went to work as a delivery driver at Family Pharmacy for the past two years. He was member of the First Baptist Church in Bolivar. He also was a referee official for many baseball, softball and basketball games. He truly enjoyed his fishing. He loved catching, cooking, eating and sharing his fish with everyone. He was a 1962 graduate of Bolivar High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Randy Serls.
Charlies is survived by his daughter, Jennette English and her husband Jeff of Monett, Missouri, his son, Dennis Serls and his companion, Jillisa Ridge of Bolivar, Missouri, three sisters, Neta Jenkins of Bolivar, Missouri, Johnnie Bays of Bolivar, Missouri, Connie Good of Pleasant Hills, Missouri, one brother, R.J. Serls and his wife Judy of Bolivar, Missouri, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
