Charles Levi Van Buren (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Charles Levi VanBuren was born October 21, 1948 in Mexico, Missouri. He left this life March 1, 2020 in Bolivar, Missouri.
Charles was an avid racing fan, enjoyed fishing, and cheering for Cardinals baseball.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, William L. VanBuren; his mother, Clara Belle (Jones) Wilson; his step-father, Clyde L. Wilson; his brothers, Johnnie Jones, James Wilson, Melvin Wilson, Raymond Wilson; and his sisters, Wanda Bailes, Helen Patterson, Mary Wilson, and Alberta Wilson. He is survived by his son Jonathan & wife Amanda of Urbana, MO; his daughter, Tammie Kee of Conway, MO; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas Wilson and Lester Wilson; and four sisters, Teresa McCoy, Debra Wilson, Vickie Wilson and Eva Rogers. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, and many friends who will all truly miss him.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Mission Ridge Cemetery in Urbana, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kidney Foundation. Interment will be in the Mission Ridge Cemetery under the care and direction of the Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
