Charles Walter(Bolivar)'s Obituary
Charles Eugene Walter, age 83, of Morrisville, Missouri, passed away at his home, Friday, November 4, 2016.
Charles was born on May 22, 1933 in Commerce, MO to Otto and Anna Sanders Walter. He had worked as farmer for most of his life. He married Okemah Bell "Betty" Duke on January 27, 1953 in Paragould, Arkansas. She precedes him in death. Also preceded him death are son Leon Riccardi; sisters Dorothy Hamm, Letha Varnon, Marie Roth and Kathleen Greene; brothers, Leons Walters, Martin Walter, Otto Jr. Walter and Orville Walter. Survivors include grandson, Darrell Riccardi, Fenton, MO; two brothers Henry (Rose) Walter, Scott City, MO and Alfred Walter Fruitland, MO. and good friend and neighbor Rick York, Morrisville, MO.
Clifford Hutchins will be conducting funeral services for Charles 10:00 AM Monday, November 7, 2016 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services Monday at the Slagle Cemetery south of Bolivar, MO. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home, Bolivar, MO.
