Christina R. Gregory's Obituary
Christina Renate Gregory, daughter of Carlos and Margo Gutierrez, was born June 28, 1957, in East Chicago, Indiana. She departed this life Tuesday, February 07, 2006, in her home in Eldridge, Missouri, at the age of forty-eight years, seven months, and nine days. On March 26, 2004, she was united in marriage to Stanley C. Gregory. Tina is survived by her loving husband, Stan, of the home; two sons, Cpl. Patrick Shaner of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and Curtis Gregory, of Millinocket, Maine; a daughter, Kristy Rideout, of Lebanon, Missouri; father and mother, Carlos and Margo Gutierrez, of Azuza, California; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Matthew and Haley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Milan and Joyce Gregory, of Eldridge, Missouri; three brothers, Michael Gutierrez, Anthony Gutierrez and Joseph Gutierrez, all of Los Angeles, California; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Tina was raised in the Los Angeles, California, area and enjoyed spending summers in Chicago and Germany. She was proud of having been a lifeguard in Los Angeles County. Tina attended Catholic schools and graduated from Citrus College in California. In 1988 she moved to Missouri, and to Lebanon, Missouri, in 2002, where she had worked at Dowd’s Restaurant for the last few years. Tina enjoyed being a farmer, living on the farm and spending time outdoors; she was a member of the Cattleman’s Association. Tina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments, and will treasure the memories she made for her family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2006, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Lebanon. Burial will be in the Hufft Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 7 - 8:00 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri. A memorial has been established and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
