Christine Weaver (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Christine Weaver, daughter of Wilbur J. Moore and Violet Mae Barringer Moore, was born December 19, 1951 in Bowling Green, Ohio. She departed this life Wednesday, February 21, 2024 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of seventy-two years, two months and two days.
On May 7, 1977, Christine was united in marriage to her true love and best friend, Howard Dean Weaver. Together they shared over forty-five years of marriage before he passed away on November 27, 2022,.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Rick Moore and Tim Moore; and two brother-in-laws, Rocky Thurman and Patrick Patton.
Christine is survived by her daughter, Sandra Doan and her husband Herbert of Olathe, Kansas; three sons, James "J.D." Weaver and his wife Teresa of Halfway, Missouri, Paul Weaver and Howard Dean Weaver II, both of Niangua, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Melissa; five grandchildren, Elijah and his wife Vero, Hailey and her husband Alias, James and his wife Aliya, Abby and Ashlynn; seven great-grandchildren, Ezekiel, Lucas, Matthew, Max, Alayna, Octavia and Juno; her siblings, Mona Moore of Grovespring, Missouri, Danny Moore of Niangua, Missouri, Marcia Thurman of Grovespring, Missouri, Jr. Moore and his wife Jenny of Miami, Oklahoma, Dave Moore and Ken Ives of Lebanon, Missouri, Carissa Frantz and her husband David of Grovespring, Missouri, Cindy Patton of Lebanon, Missouri, Carol Moore of Grovespring, Missouri, Nick Moore and his wife Lea of Kirbyville, Texas and Tracy Moore and his wife Brenda of Grovespring, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Christine made her career at Independent Stave Company where she was employed for over forty years. She enjoyed her time there and made many life-long friends. She also was a farmer and really liked milking the cows. She enjoyed the farm life and being outside, doing whatever necessary to help Howard take care of the farm and the animals.
In her spare time, Christine liked gardening, baking and candy making. She was a great cook and shared her talents with her work friends and her family. When her loving husband Howard was still living, they spent time doing jigsaw puzzles.
Most of all, Christine loved her family, especially her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They brought her so much joy and she enjoyed spending time with them.
Her loss is deeply felt by her family, and she will be so missed. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and know that her family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories she made with them.
