Christinea Marie Kelly (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Christinea Marie Kelly, daughter of the late Robert and Gladys (Zimmerman) Ponikvan, was born on July 29, 1957 in Leadville, Colorado and departed this life on September 11, 2017 at her home in Urbana, Missouri. At the time of her passing she was 60 years, 1 month and 13 days of age.
Chris graduated from Lake County School in 1975. She worked at the Climax mine in Leadville, Colorado until she met and married John Kelly on April 21, 1979 in Buena Vista Colorado. They started their life and family in Idaho and lived in Colorado, Wisconsin and Missouri. They had 2 sons, Zachary of Lacygne, Kansas and Tyrell of Challis, Idaho. Chris’ hobbies were photography, Bowling, Gardening, Canoeing and Kayaking.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys; and a grandson, Ryder. She is survived by her husband, John; two sons, Zac and Tyrell; father, Robert Ponikvar of Colorado; brother, John (Corrie) Ponikvar of Colorado; sister, Dianna (Joe) Walker of Colorado; and three granddogs, Zena, Jaz and Saavy.
Cremation rites were accorded by the Cantlon Otterness Funeral Home of Urbana.
