Christopher Chambers (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Christopher Jeffrey Chambers, son of Jeff and Delores Richard Chambers, was born September 30, 1966, in Kirkwood, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, July 5, 2022, in his home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-five years, nine months, and five days.
On May 15, 1993, he was united in marriage to Patricia Anderson, and to this union one son was born.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Chris is survived by his loving wife of twenty-nine years, Patricia, of the home; a son, Nicholas Chambers, of Lebanon, Missouri; his parents, Jeff and Delores Chambers, of Cuba, Missouri; two brothers, Eric Chambers, and his wife, Sue, of Dittmer, Missouri, and Bradley Chambers, and his wife, Angela, of Cedar Hill, Missouri; three sisters, Kelly Renkemeyer, and her husband, Scott, Holly Guerrero, and her husband, Sam, all of Owensville, Missouri, and Robyn Nelson, and her husband, Tim, of Cedar Hill, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in Jefferson County, Missouri, near Cedar Hill, and graduated from Northwest High School there. He worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Jefferson County for a number of years before retiring due to a disability. Later, he and Patricia moved to Lebanon, Missouri and made their home near Bennett Spring.
Chris made his profession of faith in Christ in 1985, and joined Morse Hill Baptist Church. After moving to Lebanon, he and Patricia became members of Community Baptist Church. He shared his faith regularly with prisoners and others and was always willing to give you the shirt off of his back.
He had a very positive attitude and was the protector of his family and community. He loved classic cars and liked restoring them. He enjoyed going on short trips and fishing. He possessed a good sense of humor and loved eating, using food as his love language. He bore his longtime health issues with great courage, strength and dignity. He loved his family and especially enjoyed having time with his son.
Christopher was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories he made with them during his lifetime.
The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice for their care and compassion the past two months.
