Christopher Washburn's Obituary
Christopher Lee Washburn, son of Leslie Rae Washburn and Loren Lee Liles, Sr., was born August 30, 1987, in Mansfield, Missouri. He departed this life Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at NHC in West Plains, Missouri, at the age of twenty years, two months, and fifteen days. He was preceded in death by a brother, Justin Washburn; his paternal grandparents; and his maternal grandfather. Christopher is survived by his mother, Leslie Holloway, of Hartville, Missouri; his father, Loren Liles, of Grovespring, Missouri; three brothers, Greg Washburn, of Grovespring, Missouri; Lee Liles, Jr. and Richard Liles, both of Mansfield, Missouri; a sister, Stacey Holloway, of Norwood, Missouri; his maternal grandmother, Pat Washburn, of Cherryville, Kansas; a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends. He was born in Mansfield and was raised in Hartville, he also lived in Urbana for two years before moving to West Plains. Chris enjoyed fishing, swimming, hunting, and was a pro at video games. He also liked using computers and loved his friends deeply. He was a wonderful son, grandson, brother, and uncle. Chris will be greatly missed by his family and friends, we love him so very much. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2007, in the Holman-Howe Chapel, Hartville. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, west of Hartville. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Hartville, Missouri.
