Clark D. Ford (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Clark D. Ford was born January 21, 1964 in Omaha, Nebraska to Charles Ford and Joyce England. He left this earth to meet his Savior in Heaven on Monday, October 16, 2023, in his home at the age of fifty-nine years, eight months and twenty-six days.
He was raised in Omaha and later moved to Springfield, Missouri. After graduating from high school, he worked in the construction industry, doing drywall and carpentry skills.
He had an unforgettable laugh and a big personality. His nickname was “Preacher Man” because he had given his heart to God and wanted others to accept God, too.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, James Maidment.
Clark is survived by his daughter, Jacquline Ford of Lebanon, Missouri; two sons, Jonathan Ford of Wisner, Nebraska and Joseph Ford of Lebanon, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Hunter Hill, Levi Hill, Whitney Ford, Paxton Ford, Rilee Ford, Lenox Ford and Braelynn Ford; a great-granddaughter, Anslee; his brother, Sharr Ford and his wife of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters, Tomi Ford-Weber and Candy Perry; and other relatives and friends.
Clark was always calm and relaxed. He had a free spirit about him. He loved to go fishing. He was talented at playing spoons. He was also a great story teller and enjoyed listening to music.
Most of all, he loved his family very much. Being with his grandchildren made him very happy and he attended their events as often as he could. Family was very important to him. Clark's faith in God, love for his family, and loyalty will be forever etched on the lives of those he touched.
